Money making runs your character through the game's own Thieving or Fishing action against every target and fish your level reaches, for 1, 4 or 12 hours, and ranks them by what each earns per hour.
What the table counts
- With item sales: the GP you take plus the sale price of every item you receive, less the sale price of the food you eat.
- GP Earned: the GP alone. Fishing gives no GP of its own, so this column appears only for Thieving.
- Experience: Skill XP.
- Food: how much food you eat, shown once you choose food.
Every rate is per hour. A target that ends the run early, by a death or by a stun with Continue Thieving on Stun off, shows how long the run lasted. Its rates still count every hour you chose, so a target that kills you in minutes ranks near the bottom whatever it pays per pickpocket.
Each run uses fixed rolls of chance, so the same inputs always give the same table, while your own game rolls differently. A rare drop can move a target several places in a 1-hour run; a 12-hour run evens rare drops out.
How food changes a pickpocketing hour
The example character has Thieving 40 and Hitpoints 40, which is 400 hitpoints, with Continue Thieving on Stun on, for 1 hour.
Without food, every target kills the character within the hour. Man lasts longest, 26 minutes.
With 500 Swordfish and Auto Eat - Tier I, five targets last the hour, and Man comes first at 130,889 per hour with item sales. About half of that is 16 Bobby's Pocket, which sell for 4,000 GP each. By GP Earned alone, Woman pays more: 69,084 against 62,425 per hour.
Bob the Farmer still kills the character in the first minute, before any food is eaten. Auto Eat - Tier I eats only below 20% of your hitpoints, here 80, and Bob the Farmer hits for up to 137 when he stuns you. Two of his strongest hits leave 126 hitpoints, still above that line, and a third can end the run. With Auto Eat - Tier III, which eats below 40%, every target lasts the hour.
What a fishing hour sells for
Fishing gives no GP of its own; its sale value is the fish and everything else you catch. At Fishing 50, Raw Skeleton Fish leads with a sale value of 73,440 per hour, gems such as Topaz and Ruby included, and Raw Anglerfish gives the most Skill XP, 32,906 per hour.
Fill it from your save
Import Save reads the text from the game's Export Save in this browser and fills your levels, Hitpoints, food, Auto Eat and game mode. While those fields keep the save's values, the run also uses your Mastery, Mastery Pool, Equipment, Shop purchases, Pets, potion, Astrology, Agility, Ancient Relics and Skill Trees. Township, Museum and Cartography are left out. The save itself stays in your browser; only the values listed here go into the run.
