Slayer tasks

Slayer tasks

Demo 0.11.2

How it works

Slayer tasks

  1. A master assigns one enemy, drawn with equal chance from the enemies of its areas that you have not blocked, for a number of kills drawn uniformly from Min task length to Max task length.
  2. Each kill of that enemy counts 1, or 2 with Task doubling chance. Every counted kill pays Reward currency and Slayer XP, both doubled on a double count; completing the task pays nothing more.
  3. When the count reaches the task length the next task starts at once. With auto slayer on, while you fight in the finished task's area, combat moves to the new task's enemy.
  4. A reroll pays Reroll cost for a new task drawn the same way, so it can give the same enemy again. An extension pays Extension cost and adds the master's base task length, once per task.
  5. Blocking pays Block cost and keeps an enemy out of new tasks; a current task on that enemy goes on. Blocking into a full slot frees the enemy it held, and unblocking is free.
